Join Orca-Cola!

 

So, you wish to join the OCC? There are two possibilities : The Orca-Cola Championship or the Snotling Soda Championship (SSC).

 

First of all, you need two pieces of software : The Legendary Edition of the Blood Bowl game on PC and Blood Bowl Manager, a free third-party program we use for statistic purposes. If you are unfamiliar with how to use the latter, many threads explain how it works on the OCC forums.

 

Then, you need to check out the calendar to see when the current season ends. (Season 12 ends on March 7th)

 

 

1. The OCC

 

If you want to join when the current season is almost finished (3 or less weeks before the end of the current season), you will generally be able to do so for the following season. It's very simple :

 

a) Make sure you have all the required software.

 

b) If this is your first time joining the OCC, it is favorable that you get a referral before you join. What is a referral? It could be someone who knows you already or someone who enjoyed playing you online. However, that person needs to be a current OCC coach. He or she will vouch for you when you apply and confirm that you are a good addition to the league.

 

c) Create an account on the forums : you can do so HERE (takes 2 minutes).

 

d) On the forums, go to the "Sign Up for Orca Cola" section and sign up in the OCC thread while providing the info that is required.

 

e) An admin will contact you and, presto!

 

 

**Note** Even if you do not have an OCC referral before you want to apply, it can be very simple to get one. You can still register on the forums and ask for a referral match over there or simply chat with anyone from the OCC in the Blood Bowl lobby. If you ask for a referral, chances are you're going to get one quickly.

 

 

 

 

2. The SSC

 

If the current OCC season has started and has 4 or more weeks remaining, you can easily sign up for the Snotling Soda Championship (SSC), which is our minor league system.

 

a) Make sure you have all the required software.

b) Create an account on the forums : you can do so HERE (takes 2 minutes).

 

c) On the forums, go to the "Sign Up for Orca Cola" section and sign up in the SSC thread while providing the info that is required.

 

d) An admin will contact you and, presto!

 

 

**Note** There are many advantages to joining up the SSC. First of all, you do not need a referral to join. Second of all, you can use any of your SSC teams to join in a future season of the OCC to avoid joining the main league with a rookie team! You can even sign up more than one team and choose the best one if there is enough room!
