  1. What's new in this club
  2. Arena is a lot fun at the moment. The drafting pool is made up of cards from: Basic. Classic. Naxxramas. Whispers of the Old Gods. Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. The Witchwood. Rise of Shadows. It's a nice mix of old and new cards and changes the Meta entirely. The card pool is also set to rotate quite frequently, which should keep things fresh. It's a great way to get back into HS without having to fork out a lot for new cards.
  3. Went ahead and crafted Legendaries that seem obviously good: Keeper Steladris, Khadgar, Commander Rhyssa, Toggwaggle and Rafaam. Will wait and see with the rest of the dust. So far have tried Mech Deathrattle Hunter, Thief Rogue, Tempo Mage and a control Shaman that has the Mega Windfury card as a finisher that seems to work quite well! Lot’s of decks that I still need to try!
  4. got commander rhyssa 2 epics i got the free wizard legend i think
  5. Opened 131 packs and got 8 Legendaries including 3 golden! Have around 18,000 dust, so will most likely craft 4 or 5 of the obviously good Legendaries and then wait and see what other ones are worth crafting. How did everyone else's pack openings go?
  6. I got some dust so will probably wait till end of april before i craft a nice looking deck
  7. Expansion comes out on Tuesday. It’s looking very interesting after seeing all of the cards. A much higher density of useful and powerful cards than normal for an expansion, so looking forward to doing some experimenting soon!
  8. So the year of the Dragon is nearly here and the first expansion has been announced. Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long this time, as it drops on 9th April and the bulk of the new card reveals should happen soon. I’m looking forward to it, as Standard year rotations bring huge meta changes with them and it’s fun to start experimenting again. Anyone else hyped, or is everyone fed up with this game by now?
  9. I saw it from a guy playing against Thyss so gave them a try, if the format was rogue and mage heavy worth swapping for dire mole I admit
  10. Haven’t seen anyone running Emerald Reavers in this deck before, typically I’ve seen Dire Moles run in that slot. The Reaver does add one point of damage, but the Mole has better survivability as a turn 2 target for the Razormaw.
  11. As promised, the beast hunter list... 2 emerald reaver 2 springpaw 2 Timberwolf 1 tracking 2 crackling razormaw 2 revenge of the wild 2 scavenging hyena 2 animal companion 2 eaglehorn bow 2 kill command 2 masters call 2 unleash the hounds 2 dire frenzy 2 flanking strike 2 tundra rhino 1 deathstalker rexar
  12. I’d play more but currently playing magic arena and got to platinum 1
  13. Not much Hunter at rank 3 at the moment. Mostly different flavours of control priest, odd Paladin, Tempo Rogue and Odd Aggro Mage.
  14. Will post it on there haven’t play for a month or so and went from 20 to 13 in an hour and a half...seems strong against the meta at mo
  15. Tempo Rogue is still good: ### Banana # Class: Rogue # Format: Standard # Year of the Raven # # 2x (0) Backstab # 2x (0) Preparation # 1x (0) Shadowstep # 2x (1) Fire Fly # 2x (2) Eviscerate # 2x (2) Sap # 1x (3) Banana Buffoon # 1x (3) Edwin VanCleef # 2x (3) Fan of Knives # 2x (3) Hench-Clan Thug # 2x (3) Questing Adventurer # 2x (3) SI:7 Agent # 2x (4) Elven Minstrel # 2x (4) Fal'dorei Strider # 1x (5) Leeroy Jenkins # 2x (5) Vilespine Slayer # 2x (7) Sprint # AAECAYO6AgSyAu0CrwTSiQMNtAHNA/YEmwWXBogH3QiGCYHCAuvCAtzRAtvjAqbvAgA= # Cold Blood is obviously missed, although you could still tech one in. Deck only struggles against very aggressive opponents, which it can still out-tempo if it gets a strong start, but it beats most of everything else.
  16. Deck popularised by Firebat recently: ### Hakk # Class: Paladin # Format: Standard # Year of the Raven # # 2x (1) Righteous Protector # 1x (2) Crystalsmith Kangor # 1x (2) Flash of Light # 1x (2) Immortal Prelate # 2x (2) Loot Hoarder # 1x (2) Potion of Heroism # 2x (2) Wild Pyromancer # 1x (3) High Priest Thekal # 2x (4) Consecration # 2x (4) Equality # 2x (4) Truesilver Champion # 2x (5) Call to Arms # 1x (5) Prince Liam # 1x (5) Shrink Ray # 1x (5) Zilliax # 2x (6) Spikeridged Steed # 1x (6) Sunkeeper Tarim # 1x (7) Countess Ashmore # 1x (7) Lynessa Sunsorrow # 1x (9) Uther of the Ebon Blade # 1x (10) Hakkar, the Soulflayer # 1x (25) Shirvallah, the Tiger # AAECAaToAg65wQLt0gKO0wLj4wKb8ALQ9AL9+wKE/AKggAO9hgPmhgPshgPOhwOWigMI+wHcA/QFzwb2B4jHAuPLAvjSAgA= # Has some nice interaction with Prince Liam and Hakkar and is a lot of fun to play, but does require a lot of Legendaries. I only had to craft Hakkar for it, so felt like it was worth it.
  17. Odd version or something else? If you want to share it you can post it in the Hunter decks thread. What rank(s) are you using it at?
  18. Eu, currently using the facehunter deck it’s busted at mo
  19. Hi @Jaggernaught. Do you play on NA or EU? There is a thread in the Online Gaming section of the Dugouts sub-forum where you can see other OCC members Battle Tag info and share yours if you want to.
  20. I think it will still be good, had to be nerfed tbf
  21. Secret Hunter should still be decent. Spell Stone comes down a turn later and you can’t abuse Hunter’s Mark as easily as before, but the deck still works in the same way. Just happens to be a bit more balanced now!
  22. Too bad as i only had a secret hunter deck...gonna wait a couple of days to see what changes work
  23. Latest nerfs are live. Will be interesting to see how it affects the meta. Nerfing Cold Blood was necessary in my opinion because it was a no-brainer card to include in most Rogue decks. Hunter nerfs probably won’t make a huge difference and might even make Even Hunter into a viable deck. Likewise Odd Shaman might start to see some play now. I also like the Equality nerf although weirdly it makes Shirvalah better by helping to reduce its cost faster. Anyway changes are always good for shaking things up and refreshing the meta! Anyone seeing any new decks appearing on ladder (assuming anyone still plays this lol)?
  24. I've been enjoying Arena recently and been getting some decent results too. Last 5 runs have been: Hunter 12 - 2 Hunter 7 - 3 Mage 6 - 3 Warlock 10 - 3 Druid 10 - 3 First time getting 12 wins with Hunter, so only Priest and Warrior left and I then will have managed 12 wins with every class!
